Valentine's Day Inspiration: Lip Blush Looks & Pigments

February is the month of love, and what better way to celebrate than with beautiful lips? To help you inspire your clients and create stunning Valentine's Day (or Galentine's Day!) looks, we're sharing some of our favourite Lip Blush techniques and pigment recommendations!

When it comes to Lip Blush, versatility is key. Offering a wide range of pigments is essential to cater to diverse client preferences and skin tones. From soft, romantic pinks to timeless nudes, the right pigment can make all the difference.

PINK: A TIMELESS CLASSIC

Pink remains an all time favourite colour thanks to its versatility and flattering effects on various skin tones. Whether your client desires a vibrant fuchsia or a delicate rose, pink pigments offer endless possibilities. Here are some of our favourites:

 IT Girl By Mara Pro

@artistry_by_lena used IT Girl from the Mara Nudes collection to create this gorgeous pop of pink. This shade strikes the perfect balance between subtlety and vibrancy when healed.

Shayk and Toffee By FACE

@keysi_beauty created this bespoke shade using Shayk and Toffee by FACE - and we love this super natural result!

NATURAL NUDES: RIGHT ON TREND

Rose and Soft Beige By Hanafy

The ultimate pigment combination for creating the perfect nude - Rose No.2 and Soft Beige No.9 by Hanafy. This beautiful mix is perfect for clients who want a timeless nude lip that is suitable for any occasion. This combination is a must-have for any PMU kit! This gorgeous look was created by the incredibly talented @tillyraepmu.

TRENDING TECHNIQUES: OMBRÉ & SHEER LIPS

The Ombré Lip Blush technique is taking the Permanent Makeup world by storm; this trending technique combines soft gradients with bold definition. By gradually blending pigment from a darker outer edge to a softer center, Ombré Lips mimic the look of expertly applied lip liner, creating a contoured, fuller appearance. Ombré Lips are perfect for clients who always use a lip liner.

Choco Mauve, Brownie Pink and Dark Strawberry By Mara Pro

@lipblushtx created this gorgeous Ombré look using a trio of pigments from Mara Pro in shades Choco Mauve, Brownie Pink, and Dark Strawberry.

For a subtle, everyday look, sheer Lip Blush is the perfect choice. This technique creates a soft, stained effect similar to a tinted balm, adding a hint of colour for a natural, fresh look. We predict this will be the trending technique of 2025 - use a thinner/dilution solution to soften your pigment of choice if your goal is to create a sheer result.

Rock Rose By Evenflo

@alesyabeautystudio used Rock Rose by Evenflo to create this beautiful dusty pink shade, implanting the pigment softly for a slight pink hue.

Cranberry By Hanafy

Permanent Makeup Artist @jasminediebelius_pmu created this gorgeous sheer result with Cranberry No.7 - and these are the results after just one session!

Jasmine mixed Cranberry with the Hanafy Pigment Thinner to reduce the concentration of the pigment, creating a beautiful sheer result.

World Famous Ink and Tina Davies Mix

@luxelipstudio has found the perfect pigment mix to create that "just been kissed" milky mauve tint - perfect for clients wanting a natural, sheer lip!
